Expelliarmus + Basic Cast + Depulso + Levioso. The idea here is to disarm your enemies – thereby removing their ability to hurt you. So I found it's best to rely on core spells but also keep Avada Kedavra around to cheese an occassional troll. With both Expelliarmus and Levioso, you can keep the enemy both helpless and prone to receiving even more damage from your basic attack. But even when you finally get Avada Kedavra it got a few notable weaknesses - it doesn't work on Inferi, it has huge cooldown which sucks in fights where enemies come in several waves. So for the first half of the game you are better off investing into Charms while in the second half it doesn't really matter what you use anymore. ![]() Crucio's damage is kind of ehh even if you trait all your gear for Crucio damage, and the ability to damage all cursed enemies at the same time is barely relevant since that damage is too low to make a difference. Now, I did a Slytherin run with full investment into Dark Arts and I have to say I kind of see where you're coming from - curses are generally weak until you get Avada Kedavra or at least Imperio - so pretty much until the end of the main story. And it's the ultimate control spell as it immobilizes most things other than bosses and prevents them from hitting you, which is one less enemy to fight - what's not to love? It gives you a way to bypass shields when other options might not yet be readily available. ![]() Lycon eredeti hozzászólása: Im not sold on the curses though, imperio is awesome but crucio is kinda meh?Ĭrucio is fine considering you get it relatively early in the game.
